Summer ferry starts on 18 May 2023
The popular summer ferry connection between Gryllefjord and Andenes starts on 18 May 2023 and there will be daily departures throughout the summer season. If you wish to start planning next year’s summer holiday or are considering other destinations, it’s already possible to check the timetables. The summer ferry will operate until 3 September 2023.

Popular ferry
The Gryllefjord-Andenes ferry route has become a popular with locals, visitors and tourists alike. That means it’s wise to allow plenty of time and arrive early when you are going to travel. Unfortunately, it’s not possible to pre-book a place on board the ferry.
Still AutoPASS for all Norwegian vehicles
In 2023, it will still be possible to pay for vehicles registered in Norway using AutoPASS for ferry. This also applies for international vehicles that already have an AutoPASS agreement.

New rules for payment on ferries for international vehicles apply from 1 July 2022. If your vehicle is registered outside Norway and you don’t already have an AutoPASS agreement, you should create a FerryPay account.

Ferry tickets are only required for vehicles. People travelling on foot or by bike travel free of charge.
